The Boot Band Sessions

Nick Hooper: Live in Session

Nick Hooper is an internationally-acclaimed BAFTA and Ivor Novello-winning film and TV composer, with an impressive body of work of over 250 scores. Best known for his soundtracks to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, these music videos offer a unique and intimate view of his musical roots as a performing guitarist. Nick performs regularly as a soloist and in various ensembles, including The Boot Band, Henderson:Hooper, and with renowned folk-musician Gordon Giltrap. He has also recently embarked on a new venture as a novelist and is the founder of Wordandnote Publishing Ltd. Above the Void (linked below) was inspired by the plot of his second novel, of the same name.

Henderson:Hooper

Henderson:Hooper is an Oxfordshire-based fiddle and guitar duo, comprising Judith Henderson (Hooper) and Nick Hooper. Formed in 2001, they perform self-penned tunes, as well as works by contemporary folk musicians including Pete Cooper, John Dipper, Bruce MacGregor and Rob Harbron, and traditional tunes from England, France and Eastern Europe. These videos feature special performances of tunes from their first full-length CD, Pete’s Trees, which was recorded at Real World Studios in late 2017 and released in 2018.

The Evolution of Madagascar (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Released across all music streaming platforms in 2017, this soundtrack follows ecologist Andy Clark (The Top of the Tree) on a journey of discovery across the incredible island of Madagascar. The film explores the origins of life on the island and the threats currently facing its iconic species, addressing the ongoing issues surrounding human development, agriculture and deforestation.
